This winter has been unlike any before. Even the Skald can scare recall tales of months so cold and so dark. Winds from the north carry discordant, barely heard tones. As grain stores dwindle and livestock succumb to the frost, the fervently whispered arguments between the village elders grow ever more grave.
This will be a story of normal Northmen and Women in extraordinary circumstances.
