It’s not too odd to see some strange things in a big city. It’s a little more than odd when the strange thing is a runaway carriage turning into a gourd.
That’s where the EAI comes in. To the world, they’re just another Alphabet Soup agency that shows up with nice explanations for the impossible and some mandatory non-disclosure forms.
To you, a field team, they’re more than that. They seek out places the “real” world and the one of story books collide. They put the lost glass slippers back in Cinderella’s pocket, they make sure no Evil Queen Apples make it to the local farmer’s market. They protect the boundaries, because when it’s not shoes or fruit, you can’t go back.
