Welcome to Espidara! A world rich in fantasy just waiting to be explored!
We begin at the Frost-Gone Festival. A yearly event celebrating the end of winter and the beginning of the next harvesting season. This is THE event of the year and the Lord holds nothing back wanting each and every serf, vassal, and villager to enjoy themselves to the fullest. There are merchants set up selling wares; performers showing off all sorts of diverse talents; Every type of taste you could imagine, sweets, salty, and spicy; attractions of all kinds. People come from all over to experience this wonderful, days long, party. Among them are a few specific individuals we will choose to focus on.
Esrah is a surprising sight to see for most. His skin is red, eyes are golden, he has horns, and a constant smile. He is devilishly handsome and that describes more than his looks. He was granted magical powers by a very powerful demon and will do anything to keep that secret from getting out. He is attending the festival with his own booth, a Fortuneteller’s tent with Tarot cards ready to tell anyone exactly what they want to hear, for some coin.
Barry is the quintessential rogue. A loner, thief, cutpurse. He is extremely stealthy when he wants to be and can relieve someone of their belongings with barely more than a touch. He is always looking for the next score and the Frost-Gone Festival has many people with fat purses needing to have them lightened.
Ragnar is a warrior, one of the Lord’s Guard. He has trained his whole life and risen through the ranks as one of the best fighters in the fief. He is what some may call a lovable dummy but he means well. Willing to thwart evil wherever it may hide.
Neera is from the outland tribe known as The Dreadfangs. To the common person, she may seem like a ravenous monster, but to those close to her, she is a defender of those weaker than her. She wields a giant battle axe and can take a hit better than anyone she has ever met.
Zevri is studying the use of magic and is quite talented at it, though sometimes her spells don’t go exactly as planned. She has a tiny furry companion named Manchester. She is traveling the world trying to find new spells to master as well as recover a lost tome that belonged to her mother.
How will these five diverse characters come together? What adventures may occur? That is up to you. I cannot wait to see what you come up with!
