Set on one of the resort islands in Australia’s north, Endless Summer, is about living and working in paradise. The surroundings are white sand beaches and stunning blue water of the Great Barrier Reef. The island is part luxury resort and part nature reserve.
The Coral Cove Resort is filled with young employees at restaurants, skippering boats, caddying at the golf course, working bars and various other roles providing luxury at the resort. You can be any of these employees of your choosing, from any country you like. Workers, like the tourists, come from all over the globe.
The island has a small number of rich, permanent residents who can live away from civilisation. There many tourists that stay on the island from days to months. These people along with other workers will form the supporting cast.
The idea is that this would be a dramedy. It will be about the relationships between the characters and other residents of the island, which are heightened by the remoteness of the island and the freedom that comes from living in a tropical paradise where the weather is an endless summer. There may be adult situations and NSFW depending in how your characters interact.
I have set it at Normal, because I think a drama lends itself to that, plus I will be looking for a bit of free form and not relying on Challenges. I would hope you check in regularly to keep the story moving and to build relationships.
