A few words on “Emeralde’s Web”
In the empire of Emeralde, an underground network of thieves called “the web” lives and breathes in parallel to the ordinary lives lead by the people of the 5 kingdoms that comprise the empire. All of you are Indies, independant members of the web that do not belong to any particular gang
Each of you have had a meeting with a collector, a web recruiter, who had a very interesting proposal for you. Cargo, a garrista (gang boss) in the small town of Deneze, offers 1,000 gold coins (more than a member of a gang makes in a year) for a top secret job. Your collector had an order to find someone with your characteristics/appearance and your particular set of skills.
The story begins the night when your meeting with Cargo takes place. You have arrived in Deneze after a tiring trip and are heading to the Sky Temple’s ruins where the meeting is held.

My influences for this story have been “The Song Of Ice And Fire”, “The Lies Of Locke Lamora” and greek history (Hellenistic period, Byzantine empire)
This is a story of thieves living in this medieval setting. It’s not DnD, there are no elves and dwarves and there’s no magic (apart from miracles attributed to religious figures)
I’m looking for dedicated players that like serious and gritty fantasy/historical fiction/heist stories with an appropriate dose of black humor.
The characters I will pick for this game will be troubled, interesting and real. Characters that kick everyone’s ass and are the best at everything have much less of a chance to be picked up. Write me a good bio! Show me you care! Also try to pick up one of the Natures already provided, unless you have a great idea for a new one.
I will try to post once every day or every other day and expect you to do the same.
The story has some set pieces, but you’ll have a lot of creative control over how the story plays out and how we shape the world together.
Let’s have some fun and create a great story together!
