I combined elements of various stories & settings. In summary, it is about a mysterious town. There are elements of magic, crime and the supernatural.
The Village is too beautiful not to fall in love with—its flower-lined streets, amber lamplight, and salt-kissed breeze make it a tourist dream. Over decades, this struggling colony transformed into a hub of wealth and industry. Easterbrook College now draws more outsiders than locals, its ivy-clad halls humming with ambition. The descendants of the Founding families guard the town’s “small-town charm” and the unspoken rules passed down through generations: keep your head down, honor tradition, and never dig too deep.
But beneath the manicured façades and polished cobblestones lies a darker truth. The town’s prosperity was forged on the blackest magic imaginable—an old bargain sealed in blood that still pulses through the Village’s veins. Bayview Cemetery’s empty graves whisper of stolen souls; Waterside Tunnels brim with smuggled relics; Savin Hall’s crumbling wards hide incantations long outlawed. Every statue in the Billiard Room and every dusty tome in Bell, Book, and Candle carries a fragment of that original sin.
Now, as portals crack open in the woods and monsters slither through the alleys, alliances fracture. Crime lords squabble over fairy dust shipments in The Tower, professors at Easterbrook chase forbidden lore, and snake-oil peddlers hawk “cures” infused with uncanny power. The descendants cling to respectability even as they feed the darkness that sustains them. When a cryptic, blood-sealed note arrives—bearing the Founders’ crest and a dire warning—it ignites a chain reaction of loyalty, betrayal, and long-buried secrets.
Will your group unearth the origin of the town’s curse and seal the rifts… or become the next echo in this town’s haunted legacy?
