King Harlus Whitehill “The Good” - The King of Vestrya, for many the only King they have ever known. Very kind and well loved and respected by everyone. Known for ending many Vestryan wars and bringing peace to the land. A true rare breed of king.
Queen Selsye Whitehill - The Queen, and wife of King Harlus, she is as kind and caring as her husband, not much is known of her background other than she comes from a noble family. Currently pregnant with second child.
Prince Edmund Whitehill - The song of King Harlus and heir to the throne, just a small boy of four.
Tobias Gardyner - Head of the Kingsguard, considered the best swordsman in the land.
Glarnock Broadfoot - The head adviser for The Dwarves, known for being a bit stern, but no more than any other Dwarf.
Savina Delarosa - Head adviser for the Forest Elves, known to be mostly peaceful and only asks that the forests be protected to which King Harlus has agreed and provided.
Zelphar Vesryn - Head adviser for the City Elves, known to be sort of a prick but obeys all laws as set by King Harlus.
Kieran Hycis - Head adviser of the Mountain Elves, not much is known of Kieran, but the mountain elves don’t seem to mind him.
Alzor The White - Adviser for the Mages, representing all the magic using humans of Vestrya.
Places of Note
Caldaria - The capital city of Vestrya, the king lives here and most of the lands important festivals and such happen here.
Thagh Dorahl - The main city of the Dwarven realm, most big happenings for the Dwarves take place here. Located in the Northern mountains.
Milananas the main city for the Mountain elves, most big happenings for Mountain Elves take place here. Located in the southern mountains.
Lillenore - The main city of the forest elves, more of a village really, but it’s where most Forest Elf business takes place. Located in Viomn Forest.
Mage’s University - A place for those gifted with magic, elven or human to study. Alzor The White resides as headmaster and adviser to King Harlus on all magic matters. King Harlus banned Necromany years ago and it is the only magic no longer practiced.
Cascadian Isles -A grouping of islands that are home to many Vestryans.
Suran - The second biggest city in Vestrya, most people like it here because of the cheaper living, but they don’t like being so far from the capital.
Dashbiga - Another popular city, not as populated as Suran or Caldaria but still a well known place.
Okay so somehow this randomly popped into my head and I just HAD to make a game. That said, as per usual with my style I sort of have a loose outline of stuff and more or less make it up as I go, playing off the players at times.
I want this to remain fairly traditional, you’ll have the overall end goal your trying to get to, and be sent on side quests and such in between. Like I said, I don’t have much planned, say no more than what I have planned for the start and some idea of who causes it.
The main things I ask are that you use a provided nature, and make your own Strength, Weakness, Subplot. Also include pictures on your cards and characters…I am kinda picky about that.
As for speed, I set it to casual. I know things happen and I myself sometimes drift off for a couple days. I generally like to try for a scene a week until we find our own groove. As long as you can move once or twice a week, that should be fine. If I don’t see or hear from you within a week, I’ll poke you to see whats up. I’m not against moving along if someone is taking a really long time. (I think 2 weeks of hearing nothing is more than fair.)
Your character can be from anywhere. Feel free to make up some random town I didn’t list as major if you like, but you will be at the Great Games in the capital city as instructed by your dream.
And I hope it goes without saying, no OP characters, being powerful is fine, but your not Superman.
Also, no Orcs. Just don’t feel like including Orcs into the lore. Dragons as well, too much stuff with dragons.
So yeah…I guess let’s see what happens.
Probably start taking apps on Friday/Saturday.
