All over Great Britain, 12 and 13 year olds are appearing with supernatural powers such as invisibility (a type of glamour), telekinesis, healing, telepathy, exact mimicry, psychic abilities, glamour (making people see things that aren’t there. Note: shapeshifters are immune to this), etc, and on rare occasions shapeshifting, mistletoe-ing/parasite-ing (the ability to suck the life force and power from anything), and pirokinesis (the power of fire). They all have one thing in common: their mothers died before they turned four.
The same thing happened 30 years ago (I’m pretending this is what Ali Sparkes books covered), and all the kids were picked up by the British government and kept secret for a long time. Then the secret escaped to the elite of other countries, and things heated up for the COLAs (Children of limitless ability). And then they disappeared.
No one knows were they went or if they even managed to escape the clawing grasp of the rest of the world.
But at least they had protection and a helping hand in the early days, when they were still struggling with their powers, alone and confused.
This new batch of COLAs does not. Spread over the nation, they flea from special forces that are not their own and other sinister groups who see their capabilities. Will their government wake up and help? And if they do, does that mean life in an underground bunker for the COLAs?

We will be using the Wild cards for the powers and the weaknesses that come with them.
This game is based on the Shapeshifter books by Ali Sparkes. If you don’t know them, I suggest you read the Wikipedia page on them.
