The Universal Network is everywhere all the time. Average residents of networked cities practically live on the electronic highway, and there is almost nowhere on earth it hasn’t reached.
Outside of the Network life is cheap, gangs, street rats, Agents, one can never be too careful in the shadows of the city.
Above it all rise the homes of the rich and powerful. Their skyways carefully guarded, their balconies carefully manicured gardens that mask their artificiality.
In this world it doesn’t matter who you are or how you make your living, information is king. Corporations wage war, armies posture, and city states crumble on the flip of a bit.
