Concept:
Play as a Dungeon core in a cyberpunk world
Setting:
Loosely based on Carbon 2185 RPG, prior knowledge not needed.
Player:
Will play as a Synth with a Dungeon core implant, able to control advanced tech to convert mass into creatures and machines to defend themselves, initially unable to move the body itself from within a large metal egg. A Synth is manufactured by one of the large robotics corporations using a combination of biological and robotic components. Using added advanced AI inside a robotic brain. they are physically indistinguishable from a real human aside from identical bar codes under each eyelid.
You will have memories of living a life and create your character based on this, but it will be fake memories.
Due to the nature of this story only one player will be able to join, they will be joined by a Guide-AI controlled by the narrator to help explain how everything works. Should more than one person apply I will be choosing based on what the most interesting fake character background.
Cards:
Your cards are essentially your resources needed to create your “dungeon” and they will be needed to overcome challenges. For those who improve in strength due to number of cards awarded asset cards of the same type can be used to the same effect. However this does not change a bad outcome to a good, it will simply mean that you failed despite being able to create something bigger.
Magic:
Seeing as you can create literal magic monsters with the right card, yes magic is a thing, but it will be treated as a sort of mutation here.
Resources:
Using technology which is more advanced then anything else in this world you can absorb and store matter into your mass converters and then turn it into almost any basic material needed to build your dungeon.
Story:
You where build as a prototype that would revolutionize warfare, not only that but you are also the first use of a mass converter design only an AI can properly use, in part because it was created by one shortly before it went rogue and had to be destroyed.
As a precaution of this happening again they have implanted a kill switch in your head which they control, they seem entirely too confident that will work too.
Your actual body is that of a Synth, the dungeon core interface is actually a implant in your mechanical heart. You have a Mass converter in each of your palms and control nanobots with another implant in your brain. Though for the time your body is stuck inside a metallic egg and forced to experience the world outside using your nanobots, camera’s and taking direct control of your creations.
Along with dozens of blueprints and knowledge how to work crafts instinctively you also have memories of a fake past and a smaller AI companion to guide you while taking on the form of a small woman using a swarm of nanobots and holographic projections.
Now whatever war these people want to use you in doesn’t really seem to matter, are you really going to let these people control you? Besides there might be more to find out about the AI that had gone rogue, what exactly happened and is there more to your creation then these pawns that created you know?
Writing style:
Third person Past tense.
About me
English isn’t my first language as you might have noticed, I will try my best, but I will probably mess up a few times especially with keeping in the proper tense; I apologize in advance.
You might have noticed I am not exactly new on the site, but I haven’t been active in a long time and I am trying to use this idea to get back into the flow of things.
