Every year, the small town of Trundle County and its even smaller theatre company gear up to put on a play. Let’s just say that their reputation is… less than stellar. Nobody has the heart to tell ol’ Byron Yardman that his plays are shit, and the friendly theatre-family atmosphere of days gone by has begun to lose its sparkle. Folks aren’t so cordial anymore. Things are getting hairy backstage.
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of putting on a play from the ground up, you’ll know that behind every triumph is a grotesque mess of blood, sweat, tears, spike tape and greasepaint. Trundle County Community Playhouse Company is no different. In fact… it’s probably worse.

Howdy! This idea was born out of my own memories of school plays and drama studies. In this story, the backstage takes centerstage. Behind the scenes, tension grows, mistakes are made, and bonds are forged and broken. Okay, that may be a bit dramatic… but we are dealing with theatre folk, here…
Whether you’re playing as an actor, a makeup artist, or the sound guy, there are sure to be follies galore. But can you manage to hold things together until opening night?
