A new universe springs into being. Gods coalesce into the void and begin creating. Some make the world, some make it better, and some make it… interesting. These gods have different powers, personalities and agendas. Some will ally. Some will defy. Some will betray. Their actions reflect the nature of the world as much as their hands shape it.
This game is a blank slate. I’m defining nothing about the world because what it is and what is possible within is to be defined and influenced by you, the players behind the gods.
The game will be exactly 7 scenes, each scene approximately a day in the god’s experience, an epoch for the world. This story hinges on the players’ creativity and their ability to find compelling conflicts between their characters without a personal need for your character to ‘win.’
You’re encouraged to create your own deity and all your own cards. You can start from a very literal corporeal being, or with a very abstract concept, but each will have either a tangible form or an indispensable agent with a tangible form (Whichever the group agrees on?)—The gods need to be able to interact directly, to hurt each other, and to have something to lose beyond what they’ve created.
As always, I’ll ask players to establish relationships before starting the game.
