“Once upon a time, there were three young women who went to the police academy. One in Detroit. Another in Atlanta. And one here in Boston. They were each assigned very hazardous duties. But I took them away from all that. And now they work for me. My name … is Charlie”
Charlie’s Angels is the story of three police academy graduates who, despite proving their capability during training, had subsequently been assigned such duties as that of a meter maid, a switchboard operator, and a crossing guard. Dissatisfied with these jobs, they were recruited to work for the ‘Charles Townsend Agency’ as private investigators.
Nicknamed “The Angels” by their employer, Charlie Townsend…a man who is never seen by his Angels…their sole communication with him is through his spokesman, Mr. Bosley. There is a reason for this, and it’s one of the many mysteries the Angels are soon to uncover about their employer, all while trying to solve the various cases he assigns to them.
