Please read everything below before submitting a character!
We’ve already got three characters; please check them out at: https://storium.com/game/blood-gulch-population-dwindling
Please don’t create a character too similar to the others still playing. We’ll be playing the cloned version of the game, so that we have a clean slate to work with.

The year is 1873. America is still recovering from a long and bloody civil war. Union hero Ulysses S. Grant sits in the White House. Slavery has been abolished. The Panic of 1873 is now underway and the American Indian Wars rage on. And, to the knowledge of very few of the country’s population, supernatural beings continue to head west, away from the crowding of civilization and the threat of being found out, or worse, hunted down.
You’ve settled down, at least momentarily, in the small town of Blood Gulch, nestled in the northern Arizona Territory. The recent discovery of a local mine has been bringing more and more folks through town lately. And with that, trouble. Some say that Blood Gulch is named such because the land is cursed. Others say the first white man to set foot in the area was a man called Elijah Blood. Whatever the reason, the town has been living up to its name as of late.
Strange occurrences have rattled the townsfolk. People have been found dead–some in most unusual manners. Some have disappeared without a trace. Sounds and voices are heard in the night. Graverobbers have struck the local cemetery. Bright flashes of light have been seen coming from the direction of the mine. At the very least, there’s a murderer among you, a twisted, sick son of a bitch who’s been too clever by far for local law enforcement. A bounty’s been posted, and you and your gang are in town to collect it.

Details!
The setting is a movie/comic book-style pulp Western with major supernatural elements. No steampunk! Sorry! Supernatural items are welcome, however.
Supernatural entities exist; they live and thrive among humans. Most are benign… they are cursed, tragic creatures. Some, like their human counterparts, simply want to see the world burn. There are groups, big and small, that know about the supernatural, some that study them and some that hunt them. The average person still doesn’t believe in monsters, however.
You are a member of a gang set out to find out what’s going on in the town of Blood Gulch. You may be human, you may not be… but you try to keep that to yourself and your friends. If you are a vampire or werewolf, you are not evil or a villain; you are merely cursed. There is an explanation for the various supernatural creatures available to play below. I strongly recommend you use the Subplot/creature cards that are available, but if you have a great idea, feel free to write your own, but be prepared to give it strengths and weaknesses that are fair to the story.
Use any of the pre-made Nature, Strength, or Weakness cards or create your own. Do not, however, create creatures as Nature cards (we’re using subplots for those) and don’t use Strength and Weakness cards to describe your supernatural abilities. You may be a particularly strong vampire, but do not give your vampire strength simply because vampires are strong. And do not give your werewolf a weakness to silver. We already know that. What’s your particular werewolf’s weakness? Any questions, place them in your application, please! I’ll be glad to help work with you on a character.
Please look at the characters already submitted before you apply, so you aren’t filling a role that’s already been filled. I’d like to see a lot of variety. Also, because I’m nitpicky, please provide an avatar. :)
PLEASE READ. Here’s the information on the various creature types you can play:
