The Cylons returned. They attacked the twelve colonies.
The Eucleia was to be decommissioned, deemed too old to be upgraded to the new CNP. It was a Valkyrie-class battlestar from the first Cylon war. It saw lots of action in its day, but that day was long ago.
When the Cylons struck the twelve colonies, Eucleia was full of military and civilians of all types working on the mountain of tasks needed to remove the old ship from service. When those onboard realized the Colonial Fleet was helpless against the incursion, they started the process of jumping away – the FTL drive being one of the few things not yet out of commission. Several civilian ships and some Raptors made it on board before the ship ran.
Eucleia is a ship alone. It’s command structure is decimated. Half the compliment is civilians. There is no plan. There is no home.

Note: I encourage creating your own cards, especially the subplot cards. BSG has a pretty rich spirituality running through it, and drama, politics and… well, lots of things. I tried to cover a few of the basics, but it’s only the tip of the iceberg.

Additional Note: Feel free to play one of the Cylons (sleeper or no). No one knows about the new Cylons yet.
