For as long as anyone can remember, The Kingdom has stood strong, alone and all-encompassing. In a thousand years, not one of its citizens has stepped out into the Wide World. But as a new millennium approaches, the air in the Citadel grows thick with whispers of a legendary journey that - or so it is said - must be undertaken before the final day of the year.
