Arbor City is an urban American city in the Mid-West.
Arbor is a hot spot. Ley-lines converge here, powerful forces and energies are strongest here, and so the city is booming with inhabitants varying from mundane to the supernatural.
Mundanes fall into three categories:
-Enlightened: Those that have knowledge of the supernatural and seek to aid and support them.
-True Mundanes: Those that have no knowledge of the supernatural and should cherish their ignorance.
-Resistance: Those that have knowledge of the supernatural and seek to destroy them in every way possible.
There are varying forms of the supernatural in Arbor City.
-Supernatural Humans: Humans with power. Magical, or otherwise, this category fits any human who isn’t Mundane.
-Vampires: No sparkling allowed. Normally creatures of the night, modern sorcery has allowed some to daywalk with the assistance of enchanted items. Extremely fast, strong, blood thirsty, and their compulsion abilities are not to be tested.
-Shifters: Former Mundanes who were bitten and can now shift into the form of an animal based on the species of Shifter that bit them.
-Fae-folk: The beings from Underhill haven’t been seen or heard from in centuries. Queen Titania closed the portals between their world and ours, forbidding interaction between their species and outsiders. Though no one has seen them, traces of their influence still linger.
There are various other races that visit and live in Arbor City, but they are not as prominent in population.
