GENRE: Horror/Investigative/Gothic PLAYERS: 1
Anchorhead is an interactive fiction game, well-regarded and one of my personal favourites. I thought Storium would be an interesting venue to see the game played out through someone else’s eyes - instead of the traditional parser gameplay (N, GET LAMP, EXAMINE DESK, S, W), the player input could be a bit more natural. That being said, having at least a basic grasp on how to play interactive fiction could only be an asset.
I am just looking for one player, a player who doesn’t mind using Storium to recreate an interactive fiction game - so we’ll be ignoring Storium’s strengths/weaknesses/subplots, essentially all of its cards, though I probably will use assets as a player inventory. Hopefully you have an open mind and some patience, in case we run into any bumps on this road. That, and a love for fiction in the Lovecraftian/Gothic vein will see you through this.
You can leave your character’s name as … and the description blank. In the original game, the protagonist is left unnamed, and you find out more about yourself as the game goes on.
