Orphanage. You’d call it an outdated term, especially with foster care existing nowadays, with the change of the times. You’d consider the term more likely to appear in “Oliver Twist”than anything nowadays.
However, this one, despite the test of time and the changes of the world, still exists. An all girls orphanage where they learn, play and live together. But you’d be right in thinking this would be a horrible place to live.
Out of the way, near a forest of pine trees. Four concrete walls and heavy iron gates, locked with heavy chain. The children have coats for playing, but they are locked up when not in use. Supposedly for safety, but some children think it’s so they don’t run away.
Awful punishments can and will happen to those who don’t conform to the staffs will. But nowadays, there seems to be growing fear, a fear greater than that of the staff. Things are beginning to change, strange lights and sounds from the forest and on the grounds and disappearances begin to occur.
It’s only a matter of time before you find out what is happening and discover the mysteries of Amourive Orphanage.
This is an expansion on a game I once ran(which itself had the feel of “Silent Hill”). I thought a horror story around an orphanage would be a creepy and interesting location.
The premade characters are what I have for choice and I would prefer people use(if you have a really really REALLY good idea, I may allow it, but otherwise take what I’ve made please!). However, we don’t need ALL of them taken to start, I’m making a big cast to choose from, but I find that groups of four are quick and easy to work with.
The characters are all girls. No chance of change on that, as I think it’s an interesting dynamic.
