It is 1986, New York City is recovering after the alien attack among a hastily changing political climate. Even with mankind facing an unknown new enemy, man is still acting the same, taking advantage of the chaos to prey on the misery of others. You are a person who sees the injustice and imprudence and that galvanizes you to take action. Becoming a mask will make you an outlaw and pit you against both sides of the conflict, but you are willing to pay that price to help innocents.
Narrator: This is to be similar to Alan Moore’s Watchmen in that there are no truly super powered beings. While Watchmen did have the true super being Dr. Manhattan, and ultimate human Ozymandias, there will be no player characters like this in my narration. We will have the semi-super science and changed world of Watchmen though. Airships, Hydrogen powered cars, mini-power reactors, and other “Manhattan” inspired advances. I have tried to create Nature cards to be true to Watchmen while adding a couple I thought should be there. Feel free to come up with some of your own if you like. I would like to keep the number of characters to three or four, but we will see where it goes!
Update: We are looking for one, possibly two new characters. Two of our regular players are on a hiatus with RL, but will be back.
