An adventure for those new to Storium.
The year is 1898. The world is a place where the imagination of mad men is king. Once the stream engine was created the world took off in a storm surrounding the technology. From airships in the sky, to the locomotive on the tracks the new technology was utilized everywhere. In the light of industrialization there are some things that are best kept in the shadows.
As part of the airship crew hired by Ether Blood, a businessman who deals with storing antiques, your job is to find and retrieve them. But not everything is as it seems when you do as these fragments of the past always have something attached to them. This includes, but not limited to: world ending plagues, curses that turn people insane, a monster that guards the antique, and there was the one time where a group of assassins hunted you down for a vase. It’s all in the life of a treasure hunter, I suppose.
This new job that Mr. Blood has given the crew is a little bit different from the last as it involves a myth of world ending proportions. Can the crew of The Astonishing fulfill the request, and prevent the collapse of western civilization?
