Beams of light flashed in the dark of the night and, from all around the globe, you and millions of others like you were pulled up towards the sky. The greenish light is both the last and the first thing you remember before you wake up. The objects you’re holding, the clothes you’re wearing, a vague picture of your old couch, your old cat, or that old meatloaf on your table are the only remnants of your life back on Earth. It’s all open from now on:
