A once proud kingdom, Niamar has been a “protectorate” of the Teili Empire for the last three generations. When the Teili forces arrived at their border, the royal house of Niamar bartered their independence for the lives of their people.
The Teili castles scattered throughout Niamar have become a reminder that, no matter how much security the superior military might of the Teili lords provide, they are not Niamarian. They are the watchful eye of a foreign government.
