A voice bellowed across the royal courtyard:
“The KING is DEAD! LONG LIVE THE NEW –What’s that? ‘E’s dead too? Well, ‘oo’s next then? Dead also? And after him? What, missing?! Wot does she thinks she’s doing missing at a time like this?!”
What followed was a bit of a blur … the frantic search for the heir and the infighting for the throne…
But in the midst of the chaos sat the Royal Mews. And, coincidentally, the royal magician had just dropped off a regal new bird of excellent breeding. With everyone else distracted, it was up to the denizens of the Royal Mews to help set things right.
