Lakeside Village appears, at first glance, as unassuming as its name. It is a relatively well-off village, its inhabitants are generally content and it is usually untouched by strife. It seems the very model of a perfect little home.
The truth, however, is that Lakeside is in the eye of the storm. Within easy travel distance around the village are mad caverns, ancient ruins, mysterious monasteries, terrifying lairs and indescribable treasures. Lakeside is the home of the dispossessed, the misunderstood, the visionary - those who simply do not fit well in the outside world where everyone else is content in their place in life. In Lakeside, it’s well-understood that everyone has a story - or they will, soon enough.
