OKAY GUYS this is how this has to work for it to make any sense.
I’m starting off the story with the murder scene. From there, you can question anyone you’d like from the character list below.
Characters will give you clues- they will say something, do something, show you something, or give you something that will then be dropped into the game by me as an Asset Card (Which I will be using as Clue Cards). These Asset cards may be helpful, or they may be junk.
You can also write anything into the surroundings: discovering things in bushes, dumpsters, things like that. To do that, ask some version of “hey, whats that in the —-?” I will then place an Asset Card into the game. These Asset cards may be helpful, or they may be junk.
When you pick up the asset card into your hand (this is an option once you make a move) you must write your observations when you “make a move” and these observations can be backed up by additional questioning.
Inspecting a clue may lead you to more.
To let me know who you’s like to go see, tell each other “let’s go talk to —-“ and I’ll set up the additional characters and surroundings.
If you accuse someone of something and you are correct with enough information to prove it, they WILL admit to it. Accusations will be played as challenges, so you know how many Clue Cards are needed to accuse a player of something. (You play those cards when you Make a Move.)
When you play the cards to accuse someone of something, you should write dialogue as to how those cards work into the story because like…. that’s sort of the point.
TO ACCUSE SOMEONE OF THE MURDER you need at least three pieces of evidence INCLUDING the murder weapon. Strengths canNOT be used to accuse of murder.
