On the edge of town is a creepy abandoned building call the Sixth Street estate. There are all sorts of stories about it. Some say it was a mental asylum, others a quarantine hospital. Others with more morbid fascinations say it was a hotel that a cannibalistic bellboy selected his victims from, or the headquarters for a demonic cult.
Regardless of the true history, the Sixth Street estate is a popular spot for teens to test their courage. Who’s brave enough to touch the front gate? To walk up to the porch? To ring the bell? To go inside? Or to stay the night?
You know someone – a close friend, a sibling – who dared to take up the challenge and went inside at night. They never came out. If you ever want to see them again, it may be up to you to figure out just what exactly is going on at the the Sixth Street estate, be it man or ghost.
This game is intended to help those new to Storium get their first game under their belts and meet other players. If you are not in a current game, have 1000 or less word count, and or have no completed games, this game is for you.
Not to say other, more seasoned players won’t make the cut, just be aware that I’m trying to help out those new to Storium.
In this game you will: make or accept a character, refresh cards, complete challenges, complete and select a new subplot, complete a goal, rewrite an asset.
NOTE: I will not decline characters. If there are more than 3 submissions, I will clone the game, and direct people to the duplicate where there will be a mirror game going on.
