Over the years, Putlockers has located himself in the middle of several controversies related to copyright infringement, protection and other problems. In 2016 the UK High Court forced it to shut down because of an authorized process. About a year after, an Australian federal court pursued the case and blocked it, in addition to other controversial sites.
