David Carson
Bio

Born in a small town in northwestern Pennsylvania, I was raised with a younger sister, as well as a younger brother. Home life was tranquil enough, but there was (naturally) always a shortage of money. Fun was found in opposition to the establishment. My first trip to jail was in the seventh grade. This was to be a portent of things to come.

From there, my family moved quite often, and I graduated High School in South-central Pennsylvania. I spent time living in a baseball dugout and a homeless shelter when I was kicked out of my parent’s house for dating a woman twice my age. Then I heard the call of Uncle Sam.

1989-2001 was a good run. 12 years in the US Army made me more of a man than college and the corporate ladder ever could have. In and out of combat in places such as the Middle East, Somalia, and Haiti was just par for the course.

During that time, I met and married a wonderful woman whom I have been in love with since 1990. We have two young, handsome boys and a world of hopes and dreams for them. We also share our lives with a plethora of animals at the Mini-c Ranch in Columbia, TN, where I struggle, work, dream, and try to write.
