In June 2017, Jaden Garza founded Nomad Internet with the mission to ensure travelers had reliable Wi-Fi connectivity. Recognizing the poor Wi-Fi quality in RV parks and travel locations that hindered full-time travelers from working online, Jaden and Jessica Garza dedicated themselves to changing this landscape. Their journey began with the first service installation at an RV park in Johnson City, TX.

By July 2017, Nomad Internet expanded its services to another park in Seguin, TX, home to a community of 50 full-time RVers who struggled with maintaining internet speeds and connectivity. Garza’s team implemented LTE technology, boosting the community’s bandwidth by an additional 40MBPS—a significant achievement, given the nascent state of LTE at that time.

Nomad Internet’s breakthrough came in 2018 when the Girl Scouts of America at San Jacinto sought a reliable internet solution for their park. Not only did Nomad Internet deliver a high-quality solution, but they also provided LTE coverage at a fraction of the cost quoted by other companies. In 2020, the company shifted its focus to a direct-to-consumer model, catering to rural communities in dire need of dependable internet services.

Offering routers and cellular service, Nomad Internet bridged the gap for rural areas lacking fiber lines and reliable internet due to their geographic location. For the first time, these communities could enjoy quality internet similar to their cell phone services. That same year, Jaden Garza began hiring full-time staff, marking a significant growth phase for the company.

Nomad Internet received a notable mention in CNET in April 2022, with the review lauding their services. As digital nomads increasingly explore the world and reside in rural areas, Garza’s company plays a crucial role in providing quality internet access, empowering individuals to live where they desire while staying connected.
