College is a time of experimentation, evolution, and revolution. At this school, remarkable students study fantastic subjects. Magic is real, and this school - just outside of reality - is the place to learn about it while discovering yourself.

Wyvern University is clearly no ordinary college. Not just anyone can apply, much less actually be accepted. Rather than looking for a high GPA and participation in extracurriculars, the Admissions Council is looking for a demonstration of your magical potential. Once they have seen that spark, you are invited to participate in The Trials.

This is where the crux of our story takes place.

The Trials are a brutal series of tests encompassing everything from spell-casting to navigating mazes wrought with danger to using one’s mind to solve puzzles of every variety. Potential students are not expected to perform perfectly, but they are allowed only so many missteps.

There is no way to prepare for what you will face. In fact, no one outside of the Admissions Council knows what The Trials hold - not even those who have previously participated. They know that they went through a terrorizing ordeal before being admitted to the University, but when they try to remember what that entailed, the memories slip right out of their grasp.
