The Esoterrorists, a global conspiracy of criminals, culture jammers, and oligarchs, seek to enhance their power through vile sorcery. To make magic possible, they work to thin the membrane separating our world from the demon-haunted dimension of the Outer Dark. A rival organization, the stalwart Ordo Veritatis, recruits operatives from the world’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies, along with top professionals from related fields, to secretly thwart them - and then protect the membrane by erasing all evidence of weird or monstrous activities. You are those agents.
