Rogue AIs lurk in smartwatches, waiting for the right hour to strike. Angels, demons, vampires, even city-stomping kaiju - these things and more lurk just beneath the surface of humanity’s collective awareness, often scheming to unwind our world.

Standing between us and certain extinction is an unlikely league of saviors: The 33 - thirty-three men and women blessed with unusual abilities, and even stranger personalities. These world-weary weirdos are often as dangerous as the threats they face: The 33’s roster includes military experts, con men, shamans, fallen angels, tempestuous sword-wielding warriors, fictional characters made flesh through collective belief, transforming robots…
