There are exclusive schools for the gifted and privileged that cater to either those who can afford it or those who excel, or usually both. And then there are the rare few ultra exclusive schools for the truly gifted to learn to hone abilities far beyond those of normal men with the intention of turning the students into heroes.

Madame Xaviera’s Academy is not any of those schools.

While it is true that Mme X’s school is for especially gifted youth, the goal is not to shape them into heroes, just the opposite. Mme X’s goal is to teach her students how to harness their powers for their maximum potential. And in return, the surviving graduates are allowed to join an elite organization bent on amassing power to shape the future of the world.

The students who attend Mme X’s school are born with abilities that mark them as superior. And it is this superiority that must be developed in order to ensure that their kind eventually rise to become the future.

This story is not intended to be part of any canon superhero universe. It will be one of our making as collaborative storytellers. It is obviously inspired by and a parody of an existing supers trope. The story is intended to be a dark humor, gritty action and human drama.
