In the world of Tamanu, magic pervades everything. It resides in the earth and grows in the trees; flows in the water and floats through the air. The elves channel it to maintain their wondrous forest havens; the dwarves carve their underground dominion with it. But more nefariously, the demonic Azadirachta forge the monsters of the world with it, creating horrors with which to torment it.

But the humans have built their cities with magic to fend off the horrors of the world, and every parent dreams that one day their beautiful son or daughter will be sent to Moon Glow Academy, the finest college of the magical arts in the world. There, they learn the finest arts of sorcery that they may benefit humanity.

But screw that: You got here on athletic scholarship! Or maybe your friends did, who cares. You’re part of Gamma Gamma Delta, the best damn frat in the whole college! Parties every night and mead every weekend! Life is pretty sweet. Course, those Phi Omega Tau uppity-ups keep getting in your way. Damn rich kids.
