… fifty years after the events depicted in The Stand, in the sleepy Prairie town of Rock-Upon-River, a stranger walked in from the summer afternoon heat, went to the saloon and shot the barman though both lungs and twice more in the gut and left him to die on the floor.
That was yesterday.
Things are about to get ugly in Rock Upon River. Heaven’s Cavalry arrives tomorrow, and the entire town is afraid of what that might mean.
